Step-by-step guide

Enter your keywords in the seed keywords textarea, one keyword per line. You can paste directly from Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or any keyword research tool. The tool processes the list entirely in your browser. - 2Add brand and competitor names
Optionally enter your brand name so branded keywords (those containing your brand) are automatically separated into their own cluster. Enter competitor names as a comma-separated list to identify and isolate competitor terms. - 3Click Cluster Keywords
The tool analyses each keyword and assigns it to one of eight clusters based on intent signals: Branded, Competitor, High Intent / Transactional, Feature / Solution, Comparison, Informational, Local, or General. Keywords are evaluated in priority order, so a keyword matching multiple clusters is placed in the highest-priority one. - 4Review match type recommendations
Each keyword is assigned a suggested match type: Exact Match for high-intent or branded terms with 3+ words, Phrase Match for medium-specificity queries, and Broad Match for short generic queries. These are starting recommendations to adjust based on your account's conversion data. - 5Export to CSV or copy ad group names
Click 'Export CSV' to download a file with columns for Keyword, Cluster, Match Type, and Suggested Bid Priority. Use 'Copy Ad Group Names' to copy the cluster names to use as Google Ads ad group names. Import the CSV directly into Google Ads Editor for fast campaign setup.

Comparison keywords use terms like 'vs', 'alternative', or 'best'. Informational keywords contain 'what is', 'how to', or 'guide'. Local keywords reference geographic terms or 'near me'. Everything else goes to General.
- What match types are assigned and why?
- Exact Match is recommended for high-intent branded terms and specific long-tail phrases (3+ words) where intent is clear and CPCs justify the tighter targeting. Phrase Match is recommended for medium-specificity queries where the core meaning should be preserved but variations are acceptable. Broad Match is recommended for short 1-2 word generic queries where the algorithm can find relevant search variations. These are starting recommendations: always refine based on your account's search term reports.
- What does Bid Priority mean in the CSV?
- Bid Priority (High / Medium / Low) is a suggested starting point for setting max CPC bids relative to other ad groups. High priority clusters (Branded, High-Intent) typically warrant higher bids because these searches are closest to conversion. Medium priority (Feature/Solution, Comparison) covers research-stage queries with moderate conversion potential. Low priority (Informational, General) covers awareness-stage queries where the conversion path is longer and bids should be more conservative.
- Can I use this for SEO as well as Google Ads?
- Yes. The intent clusters map directly to SEO content strategy: Informational clusters indicate blog and guide content opportunities, High-Intent clusters suggest landing page priorities, and Comparison clusters point to comparison page or vs-page opportunities. The CSV export works for content planning as well as Google Ads campaign structure.
- How many keywords can I cluster at once?
- There is no hard limit built into the tool. It processes all keywords in your list in one pass. For very large lists (1,000+ keywords), the browser may take a moment to process, but all computation runs locally: no upload or server request is involved.
- How should I use the ad group names?
- The cluster names generated by this tool (e.g. 'High Intent / Transactional', 'Comparison', 'Branded') are suggested ad group name prefixes. In Google Ads, a typical naming convention is [Campaign Name] - [Cluster/Ad Group Name]. Use the 'Copy Ad Group Names' button to get the list and rename them according to your account's naming conventions before importing.
